The seminar includes a free lunch (sponsor TBD) and a Happy Hour sponsored by PICA.

This event will have 6.5 or more CME Hours. A certificate of attendance will be given for category 1 CME by WSPMA.

DETAILS
The seminar will consist of 15-minute presentations sharing the complication(s), differential, and treatment course. It will feature some of the more interesting cases from residency programs located in Washington State. Audience participation with open discussion is encouraged. Please feel free to bring your own cases for discussion as well.

OBJECTIVES
• Identify ways to avoid and analyze complications
• Identify and apply strategies to improve patient outcomes
• Analyze case-based approaches to deal with complications

LOGISTICS
A laptop and LCD projector will be available for your use. Please bring your PowerPoint presentation on a flash drive.

Established in 1993 in memory of a long-time member and former WSPMA President E.P. Erickson, DPM. The Erickson Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to students from the state of Washington. E.P. Erickson, DPM, became an APMA member in 1940 and passed away in 1991. Dr. Erickson was a long-time WSPMA member, served as president of WSPMA from 1964 – 1966, and was Treasurer for many years up until his death. He was also recognized as podiatric physician of the year in 1967.

PODPAC funds help our lobbyists in Olympia gain better access to legislators who can influence state legislation affecting healthcare and our businesses as healthcare providers. Your donations help keep podiatric medicine from getting lost or undermined in the legislative shuffle at the state level. Your livelihood is affected by politics, and donations help podiatric physicians maintain influence in the political arena in Olympia. We are a small organization and every donation counts.
