The bus tentatively departs from the Burke Museum roundabout (UW Seattle) at 10:00 am and departs back to Seattle 8:30-9:00 pm. \nWashington State Special Olympics is excited to be able to offer in-person health screenings again for athletes at their upcoming Winter Games held in Wenatchee\, WA. The event will be on Saturday\, March 4th\, with exact location and time still to be determined. There is a call for both medical and nonmedical volunteers to help with the “Fit Feet” section of the event\, focusing on evaluating feet\, biomechanics\, and shoes/socks of the athletes. \nThis is a great experience to interact with an underserved patient population and the athletes are very appreciative. Our speaker works with more than 30 hospital systems to teach mindfulness through microhabits. She is a neuroimmunology researcher at NYU\, a clinical social worker\, and an entrepreneur focused on reducing burnout on the frontlines. \nLearning Objectives \n\nRecognize what burnout looks like in yourself and others.\nUnderstand the concept of mindfulness and that it is a practical solution for burnout prevention.\nIdentify at least three microhabits to build a repertoire of mindfulness habits.\n\nCECH Information\nThis webinar provides attendees with 1.0 CECH.
