DESCRIPTION:Date & Time: Saturday\, March 4th\n3:00 pm – 8:00 pm with screenings starting at 4:00 pm \nLocation: Wenatchee Convention Center\n121 North Wenatchee Ave. Wenatchee\, WA 98801 \nRegistration Link: https://2023healthyathletesmedfestvols.my-trs.com/ \nGetting There: A free shuttle for volunteers in the Seattle area is also available. The bus tentatively departs from the Burke Museum roundabout (UW Seattle) at 10:00 am and departs back to Seattle 8:30-9:00 pm. \nWashington State Special Olympics is excited to be able to offer in-person health screenings again for athletes at their upcoming Winter Games held in Wenatchee\, WA. The event will be on Saturday\, March 4th\, with exact location and time still to be determined. There is a call for both medical and nonmedical volunteers to help with the “Fit Feet” section of the event\, focusing on evaluating feet\, biomechanics\, and shoes/socks of the athletes. \nThis is a great experience to interact with an underserved patient population and the athletes are very appreciative.
